Dr. Tine Bech

Tine is an artist, a facilitator of innovative thinking, merging art and design with the digital language of technology to create spectacular projects. Originally from Denmark she currently live and work in London where she create innovative interactive projects which have excited and inspired people around the world. The work has been presented in numerous museums and venues as well as many other public sites and contexts, both in the UK and internationally. Through the Tine Bech Studio in London she creates large-scale public artworks, interactive spaces, wearable designs, interactive events and social games. In today’s digital automated sensor-based world, her studio contributes to debates about the design and implementation of increasingly interactive and smart environments – including cities. Tine also completed a PhD in 2014 at The Digital Culture Research Centre, University of West England.
